One Newspaper to Out Palin

April 30, 2010

We live in a time when our major media organizations have proven that they have zero interest in actually reporting on the people who want to be in power in this country. They have given the queen of the morons a pass. They gave her a pass when she told the most outrageous lie possible about the birth of her fifth child. They gave her a pass when she lied about earmarks, of which she was the porky queen before declaring them bad. In fact, one could make a pretty long list of lies that the media hasn’t bothered reporting, even as they report her every appearance in dumboland.

A suggestion: there is exactly one newspaper in this country that still has the balls to report on batshit crazy, power-hungry assholes like stupid Sarah— The National Enquirer. They may be the only news organization left worthy of being called such. Who outed Edwards? The Enquirer. We, at Palinoscopy, have but one suggestion for those who would see the dipshit brought down: write the Enquirer and let them know that the day they lay her low, those of us committed to the truth will become subscribers. No other media outlet seems to have the balls to do so much as insult a celebrity who aspires to power. It’s disgusting. Write them. Support news. Tell them you’ll subscribe if they report.

Good idea! I’m gonna add them to my contact list because your right, their record looks pretty dang good compared to the rest of MSM.

Now that’s the best idea I’ve heard all day. My suggestion would be to write or call the Editor in Chief – Tony Frost and Executive Editor – Barry Levine.

Thanks for encouraging me to write to the Enquirer once again. I gave them some short, punchy details about Babygate, with links, provided my telephone number, and said that I would be happy to lead their reporters to solid research that already has been performed. “Let us help you,” I concluded.

so what scandal is the Enquirer reporting could be their next story? President Obama and an aide, in 2004…

Anti-Obama operatives are reportedly trying to lure witnesses with a $1M bounty for information.

A further note: More reading on various other news sites and blogs indicates to me that this Obama rumor had surfaced originally during the 2008 campaign and never gained legs because it was roundly debunked and proven false — in fact, several times, because the right wingers kept trying to resurrect it.

It seems like they’re trying again, to distract this summer and fall from their own epic fail in such issues as health care (insurance) reform, climate change (on the back burner, now, apparently) and immigration.

In fact, it delights me that AZ was stupid enough to pass this “show your papers” law now because it illustrates how racist the Republicans can be in order to try to intimidate legal immigrants who are citizens of the USA and who have voting rights from actually participating in the November mid-term elections.

Their law wasn’t to attempt to identify ILLEGAL immigrants. If they wanted to do that, why wouldn’t they put into law something that would allow them to find and apprehend all the blonde, blue-eyed illegal immigrants who reside in Arizona.

…Although more than likely laws already on the books dealt with the overall problem, law enforcement just needed funding. I understand Gov. Brewer actually cut the budget for law enforcement agencies.

If Obama is dumb enough to pull any sexual shenanigans I’d be surprised. The Republicans obviously want to reprise the Bill Clinton blue dress days, but I doubt he’ll give them that.

As to the Arizona immigration law, I agree with those who want to end illegal immigration. The problem is that by doing it in the stupidest possible way they are actually hurting the whole project. Arresting people because they “look” illegal? You’ve got to be kidding me. What is interesting is what is missing from the Arizona immigration law: punishing EMPLOYERS who hire illegals. Do our dimwit friends who hate illegals ever wonder why their overlords have NEVER gone after businesses who are actually the magnet for the rampant violation of our laws?

I wrote to them and told them to investigate the wild ride. Never heard back and there has been no article yet. More people need to write to them about it.
