I agree – libel suits coming! SP has pushed too many people (and they are REPUBLICANS!) over the edge. Let the lawsuits commence. I suspect she will pay settlements vs. appearing on a witness stand. Van Flein will get richer as Palin loses all the profits from her book-of-lies.
She is pathological, sick and dangerous. Her own book will be her downfall. No worries, she can do another fundraiser – fans will donate their last dime and can choose from sarahpac, alaska fund trust, stand up 4 our nation, pie spy and more! The grifter is going to get every last penny from those poor suckers. But THEN what will she do?
Stay tuned to see if Murdoch, Graham or Malek will bail her ass out.

Nor do any of us have a problem figuring out that aborting a dead fetus is just that. So why bother with the semantics? That’s also not the only point. Most of the “partial birth abortion” squealing that takes place on the hysterical right leaves out exactly that distinction. The babies that are aborted in those cases are generally either dead, or fast becoming that way. Making the whole debate idiotic. A D&C when one is pregnant is called an abortion. Why not just say it?

It’s the hypocrisy that sickens.

I don’t see what is so hard to distinguish between aborting a live fetus and one that has died. Obviously, the problem Palin has is not with a procedure removing the flesh of the fetus, but with the ending of the life she believes is sacred, so if it is already ended, she does not consider that an abortion. It self-aborted, and the D&C was to remove the dead tissue to prevent further problems, since at that point there is a health risk in continuing to carry it.

And to the idiot who referred to the electronic form, you must be 15 years old if you can’t remember a time when doctor’s offices used primarily paper and typewriters. It is perfectly reasonable that at the time this event occurred, in a remote town in Alaska, the doctor’s office used paper forms.

You people are scared is the truth. This woman is actually smart and cuts through all the bullshit and calls you out, and she just may kick this lame ass socialist we have now to the curb. And you are horrified someone of conviction and courage might actually take back this country from your greedy bossy asses who want to take everybody’s money and tell people what to drive, wear, eat and think.

I seriously doubt this comment will remain on this site, since it is obviously a bunch of psycho frothing-at-the-mouth liberals based on the content and comments on this post. But I don’t really care. At least one of you asses will read it, and you’ll laugh it off, but deep down, it will touch a nerve before you censor it. If you don’t, kudos to you for letting it stand, but that would be surprising.

The infamous “Kobayashi Maru” is the classic no-win scenario situation in the Star Trek world. The real world parallel is the power that Sarah Palin now has over her political fate. The media is facing a lose-lose situation dealing with Palin, and they know it.

Palin’s first book “Going Rogue: An American Life” has already ranked #1 in sales palinpower on Barnes and Noble and #1 on Amazon. This is after a few days of being on sale for pre-order. The response will be so big that it will be difficult to discard Palin as a Republican political fad. The publisher, Harper knows the response will be big. That is why they are delaying the audio book’s release a month after the hard cover version. The publisher is looking to cash in on hard cover sales. I would not be surprised if the total sales of this book rival that of Obama’s “Nightmares of My Father” in a very short time.

The government media will not be able to ignore the book like they did with Mark Levin’s “Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto”. Palin is an electrical figure that the press will love to hate. Unfortunately for the press, they are in their own isolated world that has little to do with grassroots America. People will read this book and fall in love.

Herein lies the problem for the left-wing media. People like Palin. These people will not like the obvious effort by the press to demean and slander her. This time, Palin is controlling her own press and getting her word out in a positive way. She is not letting the press be her voice. Instead, they will be backbenchers chasing her around trying to create trouble. The press will not be able to win or outflank her because they are in a defensive position. Palin will play offense and control her own destiny. That is a classic American story that many will love.

there isn’t an american press in this country — just a collection of cheerleaders that change their cheers according to their interpretation of who’s winning. If this version of the media class existed during Watergate, Nixon would never have been revealed to be mendacious power mad troll that he was.

It’s better to read foreign reporters view on our American political scene at this point.
